Does this analyst personally know Dick Cheese?Hmmm, if the Huskies take two veteran LBs than maybe Manu will redshirt?

it’s LIPO and I fucking hate that. Maybe one or two are a clear upgrade but to your point, haven’t really beaten any big boys for these dudes. It doesn't seem like we're actually upgrading at any of these positions.
Lars, killing it as always. Fuck sake.
Not sure what you mean, at least other than LB but they'll nab at least one more veteran LB.It doesn't seem like we're actually upgrading at any of these positions.
I think the overall quality of the roster has gone up though I haven’t had any massive Bonner inducing portals. Not sure what you mean, at least other than LB but they'll nab at least one more veteran LB.It doesn't seem like we're actually upgrading at any of these positions.
Definitely upgrading OL and at least improving depth at DT. Eldridge is a nice addition as well.
The key with with the very big 2025 class (and decent sized 2023 and 2024 classes) is to use the portal to get good / experienced players in order to give the younger guys time to develop. Rushing guys onto the field isn't good for anyone and they are more likely to get hurt too.
They’ve upgraded. They haven’t secured any off season natty studs but the D line will have enough bodies next year to keep the guys they have fresh. If everyone plays 25-30 snaps they can give max effort on every play and be the best versions of themselves on every down. The last 4-5 games last year they only rotated 3-4 big guys up front, played edge guys in the middle at times to get rest. No depth. They aren’t finished either. Keep stacking size.It doesn't seem like we're actually upgrading at any of these positions.
Lynch looked weak, like he hadn't lifted a weight in his career and played like it. He was only used a little bit as a stand up edge guy, I rarely saw him with his hand on the ground. With this commit, I wonder if they will be moving DeShawn Lynch to 3-tech. Would be insurance in case Jayvon Parker can't heal up in time to make a difference in 2025.
Lynch will have his first offseason at a D1 school. Will be very interesting what he weighs when fall camp comes around. Lean him out to 275-280 and play him on the edge or thicken him up to 310-315 and move him inside? Time will tell.Lynch looked weak, like he hadn't lifted a weight in his career and played like it. Yes, he definitely looked like he hadn't been hitting the weights hard and often prior to UW and also had 15 lbs of bad weight.Lynch will have his first offseason at a D1 school. I think they'll try to keep him on the edge, but big enough to be a 3T on passing downsLynch will have his first offseason at a D1 school. Bryce Butler, flashed against UCLA (and mysteriously didn't play against Oregon); kid has good power and doesn't get moved around like Bandes did. There’s also the JC DL. Can’t remember his name. I thought he played pretty well against NW? Then he was hurt off and on the rest of the year. Will be interesting what size he is when fall camp starts as he too will have his first offseason in a D1 strength program. Keep stacking big humans on that Dline.
Yeah, we aren't getting the major roster upgrades we need, especially on the lines. Going to have to be up to the coaches to level them up.Pretty accurate to say the portal stuff thus far has been mostly okay but kind of unremarkable and still feels like we need to make more splashes on the OL and DT. The team has more to work with coming back next year which helps.
