I have a friend who, many years ago, worked for Kraft as a sales rep. He packed on at least 100 lbs and got cancer eating all the trash samples they give their employees.

For my bbq guys, I highly recommend grabbing the prok rib roast at Costco. It's about $3 per pound and unbelievably tasty. Sear it then cook low and slow to 145 internal. Dry brine with a little salt. I prefer to brush with a savory glaze while it cooks. I honestly would eat this over most beef cuts without even considering price. This versus angus/prime ribeye at $27+ a pound and I would never once reach for the beef cut.
 
Rent is deflating for sure. Food is basically on par to the total. What’s killing the CPI is healthcare actually consumption, not insurance premiums an electricity/utilities both of which have a million taxes and regulations baked into them.

Redistricting alone has put the GOP in a better position. Cali triggered these losers to actually play ball despite trying to lose the right way. I won't hold my breath to see if they follow through.

GOP could gain 5 or more on that alone.

Of course Duckies is in here parroting the msm that the midterms are a foregone conclusion against Trump.

The GOP biggest problem is that Trump ISN'T on the ticket in the midterms. Who wants to vote for the spineless GOP congress?

Republicans best play for mid terms is to promise DOGE coming back and supported by Congress. And across all areas of government, defense department included.

And if Trump isn’t willing to support that, then he deserves to get impeached over something stupid.

Between now and midterms, full court press on exposing the billions of dollars fucks like Gavin and Jay Chinslee and Tampon Tim have spent on illegals.

Normal Americans are tired of paying for other people's lifestyle.
 
I don’t know, he got soft on it. Needs to get on it now though. Only endorse candidates in primaries that pledge a full DOGE deep dive. Bessent could be a good messenger on how much ridiculous deficit spending and fraud has contributed to the~25% of cumulative inflation. They haven’t been good at connecting that part to prices.
