A couple of questions regarding the fischer of men . . . . . . . .

The predecessor to this board was founded in 2007 or 2008 on the guiding principle that it didn’t take four years to see if a coach was good. It really only took two. We were right then and we are right now when we say it’s only one now with the portal. And in reality it’s really by the end of September year one.
I think 2 years is acceptable if you see year 1 full scale roster overhaul and progress.

We are in year 3 of talking recruiting potential though. Year five under Jedd *might be special.

Playoffs year 2

Twice

Career losing record and no playoffs with a shit future

Facts

Cope harder

I'm a Husky fan. 25-3 is the standard

Race,

The issue with you as always is a lack of nuance and understanding ...

I don't think anybody would try to say that the situation that DeBoer took over at UW (4-8 with the Jimmy Lake meltdown) was better than the one that he took over at Alabama (St Nick's roster and coming off a CFP Semi OT loss)

At this point, it's also hard to conclude at this point that DeBoer has not done as good of a job at Bama as he did at UW

Now, we can argue whether DeBoer would have been able to sustain his success at UW had he stayed and that's a different discussion ...

But at this point I think it's also fair to say that what KDB did at UW was likely an outlier and on the high-end of expected outcomes (take his record in 1 score games for instance) ...

And the problem with the KDB years as we distance ourselves from them is that we put those 2 years on a pedestal as an example of what can happen without also recognizing the tremendous amount of good fortune that we had during that period that is unlikely to take place going forward

I’ll take Bammer’s four-loss season over the shit pile UW emptied out
I don't even understand why we're having this conversation.

Alabama's best wins 2025 - Georgia and Oklahoma (playoffs)
UW's best wins 2025 - Illinois and Boise State

Bama's 10-4 > UW's 9-4. And it's not even close. And I'm someone who said Bama shouldn't have been in the playoffs over Notre Dame.

I wish it wasn't so, but it is.

The problem with DeBoer is he destroys the arguments of the losers like Fisch and the losers who support him

Today's word is outlier as in our coach sucks so a great coach is an outlier as if that is an excuse to keep a coach who sucks instead of finding another outlier since UW was too fucking stupid to keep the outlier they had

And you need the nuance of the greatest 4-8 team in history to make the "nuance" not sound as retarded as it is

And of course Outlier 'Cig who took over the program with the most losses in college football history

By all means nuance yourself to another shitty season under Fisch and bloviate some more bullshit to defend it

The funniest thing is that the worse they say DeBoer is and the more they downplay what he did the worse Fisch looks

Fisch was supposed to bring Arizona with him like Cig brought James Madison players

Oops

Call it an outlier and nuance away

When Fajita and MacMillan didn't head north with him, that was a major red flag

Those two would have been nice to haves, the real miss was the 2-3 pretty legit OL guys.

Though to be fair, UW was mostly behind on the NIL / portal thing by at least a year. While other schools jumped in, UW was trying to lead from behind. It was really really dumb.

Regarding the CBs next year, let's see how they do before crowning the 2025 CBs as the best ever. Tacario Davis didn't play against Ohio State, Oregon, and also didn't play in the bowl game. He had the fewest amount of tackles and passes defended since his true frosh year.

Unclear if they didn’t like Judd/Carrol enough to move or we were not offering enough to make it happen. Either way it was definitely an early red flag.

I'm resigned to the fact that all the blind dismissive rage against DeBoer is grounded in the fucked up way he left UW and that people here can't get past that. So I've come to terms with it. But DeBoer's best days are in front of him.

Humberto wanted those two more than judd wanted top 30 desirable UA xfers. Seems pretty simple.

Carrolll…

Petros said the other day that the Raiders OL/Geno were having their own meetings (without Brennan Carroll) to figure out protection schemes. It’s no wonder the Zona OL didn’t want to follow him here.
