2026 UW Roster - Offense

Yeah something like that will happen. Our road opener might be USC so that our fans will get to travel to Lansing in November.

Will UW fans still be booing Demond by the time the B1G season starts?

It seems like most of you are cucks anyway, so I assume everyone will be " all is well" on the first snap of week 1. No?

Or will the real, old-school WASHINGTON fans haze the fuck out of this chump for at least a few weeks?
It will be over after we smoke the Cougs and Demond looks good. It will start up again when we lose a game and he doesn’t.

I'm guessing either Penn State or Indiana is the home opener because they will want to give one of them nice weather for the traveling crowd to enjoy Seattle!
My guess is Indiana. 800k+ living alums and I don't know if they have this loyalty to the Penn State brand the same way they do to Michigan and Ohio State.

No, it’s not. The only spot where that is true on paper is WR. Maybe RB. Last year we had one really good WR in Boston and a good one in Roebuck. This year, I think we will have one really good one in Roebuck and 3-4 other good ones and it will be a better, more balanced attack.

I think the run game will be better overall as well. We will have a better OL and someone will step up at RB, and we will also be more explosive with more chunk play runs with the faster RB’s.
Lmao

WR loses an NFL player that isn't replaced and they lost the 3rd or 4th guy
RB loses 2 high level players and has skat backs and jags left
TE loses an NFL guy and have no one in the bullpen

But the offense will be better?

Coleman and Mohammed were not that good.

Quentin Moore is an NFL guy? He caught about 5 passes, ever. Solid blocker but for fucks sakes...Littleton and Feeney.

I haven't really seen a bad Roadie take, yet. OTOH, Canadawg, sometimes I think you don't even watch the games.

The two most critical parts of the offense, also making up the majority of the offense (in numbers and importance), are the QB and the OLine. Both will be better. The OL added depth while improving the starting unit which will make Demond even better on top of his "second year of starting" development.

Losing Boston hurts but that is the only other significant loss as there is not a dearth of ability in the TE room (as you suggest). Moore's contributions can be replaced fairly easily with what returns (and the newbies). RB is likely a wash as we lost one injury prone back and one who didn't even want to be here.

More Roadie, less Canadawg.

I think UW has enough cash to pay for starters they really want to keep. Mohammed, from all I’ve gleaned, didnt like UW. Cool, that’s what the portal is for. They kept Coleman, Boston, they brought in Taco and kept Loadsock. On top of that they paid to bring back their junior QB even though he eventually wanted to back out on the deal. What’s important is they paid market value for him. The only freshman they lost that made an impact was RVB. If he wanted a big bag and it was between him and Roebuck then I like the decision they made. Mills and RDA are back, huge deal there. Butler really is the only upper class guy they lost where I wonder how much more he got from Texas Tech to be a rotational DL. He’s not some pocket collapsing, game wrecker. Just a nice piece. I’d like to see the financials. Henning and Paki were depth at UW, not starters. They’re transferring to start next year. Does UW pay starter money for their back ups? Again, that’s what the portal is for. If the Seahawks have a sixth O lineman they like who’s up for free agency and Detroit offers him a starting spot and more money are the Hawks expected to pay him what a starter makes because they like him? No. You go young and move on. That’s what the Huskies are doing for Oline depth. Not starters, depth.
Finau was an important piece and shouldn't be dismissed offhand. He played 426 snaps at three positions, committed zero penalties and gave up zero sacks. It matters little whether he was going to start or not. He played a lot, was very good, and there's going to be a cost to losing him.

Nothing against him but his takes are generally pretty vanilla. He said "someone will step up at RB". Enthralling. Riveting even.

When people are new to football they think the TE is just a big WR but they are equally important as a blocker. Hth

You can give him all the roadie you want but it's just "either way it'll be interesting" in disguise
