2026 UW Roster - Offense

Im using hyperbole just like you are. I would not be touting him as the best RB in the B1G. Ive never once said any UW player is the best in the B1G.

Hope this helps

If Mohammed was coming back Id be optimistic about it, but he isn't and UW has incoming talent.

If the o line can block well, someone will emerge to get the yards.
If the players starting this year we're actually good you wouldn't need to undermine the good players that left. Which you absolutely started doing immediately after he left

No I didnt?

I said they are replaceable.

Travis Feeney and Corey Littleton were good but replaceable players.

You guys are becoming a new kind of doog where the coach sucks at everything but the players are fucking amazing and irreplaceable. Not quite sure what to make of it.

Truth is that the coach and most players are mediocre until proven otherwise.

Mohammed has two good games after a lot of meh running over a couple seasons. Not the end of the world.

I
The only material loss on offense was Boston who was injured some of the time. I won't minimize it but it won't likely be fatal. Having a better OL, a talented QB in his second full year of starting and a young crew of capable receivers (plus an experienced portal pick up) might be enough to offset the loss of a part time Boston. Yeah, losing RVB could be the eventual straw that breaks the camel back, but still.

I would be more confident if Jedd had shown the inclination to better scheme considering Demond's talents (or even better, flaws) especially with an improved OL.

This whole bored seems to have reverted to the old posidawg vs negadawg debate. There are plenty of valid reasons to be optimistic if you don't start off with a negative mindset.

To each his own.

I will judge the offense on how they do against 0regon, Indiana and PSU/USC versus how they did against Michigan, tOSU and 0regon.

I'll take the over (and holding my ass cheeks against Indiana).
I think you're underestimating how easy it was for Boston to bail Demond out because he was a huge target with great hands and body control. The guy made some unbelievable catches along the boundaries. UW will not have that component next season. Adds more pressure to a tiny QB who is incapable of seeing guys open in the middle of the field unless they're wide-ass open against a zone defense.

Talk about hyperbole. I didn't see anyone saying the players are fucking amazing and irreplaceable -- or even that they were all that great.

But anyone with half-decent eyesight and half a brain (SWIDT?) can compare the current roster to the end-of-last-season roster and the deficit in skill and talent is pretty obvious. Now, if Fisch is the coach some in here think he is, the roster will look a bit different come August than it does right now.

But as of today, this is not close to a 10-win team.

Washington was close to a 10 win team last year despite all of its flaws.

The offensive line and quarterback play should be better. The defense should be good as predicting a big fall off with a DC as good as Walters seems naive.

If Washington doesnt make the playoff in year 3 with Fisch at the helm it probably never will.

And since hyperbole is the word of the day, worrying about losing a few players in the portal area has the permanent noogs concerned, which is ironic.

Washington has the highest rated RB recruit of all time coming in at a position where young players can excel. If the offensive line improves, which it should, it is not crazy or hyperbole or whatever to think the run game could actually be better.

Not all 10 win teams are alike. That was a dog shit schedule, no matter how much you flail about to try and convince us all after the fact.

Fisch is a great recruiter

Fisch nailed the portal from Arizona

Roebuck is a future star. We don't want Roebuck anyway

Fisch got Mohammed. Mohammed wasn't that good

And away we go

If that was a dog shit schedule, then Mohammad was a dog shit player using your logic. Fucking retard
Mohammed got 19 TOTAL carries from weeks 3 - 8 (6 games) while Judd stuck with fatass Coleman. Can't produce if your retard coach doesn't give you the ball.

54 carries in the 4 games after that and, guess what? He piles up 326 yards at 6 yards a carry.

You are the fucking retard. Keep flailing about the dog shit schedule somehow being good.

Non doog assessment of what UW is losing on offense:

RB - Coleman is hard to assess. I really wish he would have gone pro after 2024. I feel like he did nothing after one early run against Ohio State. Rewatching highlights Mohammed is a guy who needs blocking to do his thing and has big potential when he does (see Oregon). Feel like his assessment comes down to what he does at Cal though.

WR - I was first and right this position was a problem going into 2025. This group had Boston and constantly in Demond's defense he dropped back and no one was fucking open. Boston is the biggest loss on the team even though he was banged up for 1.5 seasons. Impossible to replace. Omari Evans was another odd transfer like Jeremiah Hunter who seemed like he had potential and did almost nothing until the end. Don't care about Vines-Bright. He didn't even have a TD until the bowl.

TE - Moore was simply a blocking TE. A good one, but that's really limiting and assume having him out there could tip the play call and limit play call.

OL - Losing Willis is underrated. Easily their best OL and the OL really struggled when he got hurt. I feel like Finau and Henning are luxuries almost no program can afford to keep anymore but they are still losses. Feels like OL is the #1 position where it turns out the backup who had to come in due to injury turns out being better than the starter.

Cooper “not good enough for Jimmy Lake” Petagna was on Caple’s pod and said he loves the nerdy looking OT portal guy. That’s good.👍🏻

What I don’t like is losing OL guys with position versatility. Henning and Finau were both Swiss Army knife guys. Could play any position. Nerdy OT and Assparty, OTOH, will never play guard….so it looks like Geirean is our only proven Swiss Army knife guy. If a guard or center goes down, who can replace them besides G. Hatchett?
