Oregon's best win was against a team that lost to Illinois.
They aren't some juggernaut team. Very beatable at home.
They are going to struggle to move the ball.

And Washington's best win is having a 50.1% win probability against Ohio State midway through the 1st quarter.
UW is 95th in sacks and 122nd in TFLs. Oregon will be ahead of the chains all game. Meanwhile, UW will not run on the Ducks. Washington has a good run D. Oregon put the most rushing yards on Iowa at Kinnick in 20 years(I made that up).

Factually wrong. I know facts are hard for you, but UW's best win beat Oregon's.
UW doesnt excel at pressure or tackle for losses, but they do excel at limiting RBs to low yards per carry.
Moore is going to have to win the game for Oregon and I dont think he will.
Husky Stadium for Oregon makes Kinnick and Beaver Stadium seem quiet in comparison.

Oregon tends to park their LBs and Ss 5-8 yards off the line of scrimmage - they try to take the short passing game away.
Most of Demond's passes will need to be 10+ yards in this game and towards the sidelines a lot. Those seem to work against the Ducks. He's going to need to roll out a lot in this game to pass. Demond will throw multiple interceptions if he attempts a lot of 5-8 yard passes.

I would really like Demond to run the option 4-6 times in this game with Jordan Washington as the option RB. That would really screw with the Oregon D. More flea-flickers too please…
Coleman is injured and I don't want him touching the ball much, unless it's 3rd/4th down and short.

The UW D will probably keep them under 24. Walters is doing a very good job.
The UW OL could lose this game if they play like they usually do against winning teams.
Is Assparty back yet for this game?

Iowa held Oregon to 18 points. The UW D is about the same as the Iowa D.

UW wins 27-24.

If Jedd calls the right game for the offense that he has as opposed to the offense that he wants, UW can beat this Oregon team unless this Oregon team plays very well.
If Jedd tries to beat Oregon with Demond dropping back and throwing out the pocket while staring straight into his linemen's asses, I think Oregon's front will get enough push and occasional penetration to make that end badly for UW. I'd have the kid rolling out on pass plays and I'd run the ever loving shit out of him.
On D, I think if UW can get some pressure on Moore things could get interesting.
The transitive theories involving Iowa and Penn State and all that aren't that thought-provoking to me. Oregon did what they needed to do in those games, and where Penn State's involved, I honestly think the Ducks kinda broke them and Franklin in that game and that hangover lasted a few weeks. I don't think PSU is quite as bad as their record became.
But I do think UW is tough at home and has some sneaky good elements to their game that could combine to make some grease.
Literally no outcome would completely surprise me. UW winning a close one. UW getting their asses beat. Anything in between. Toss up.

If the roles were reversed many here would think this Washington team would be a terrifying home underdog to be playing right now. Defense starting to get hot and 3-4 game breaking playmakers that just need the stars to align

Sounds like the Ohio State game here Groz
Home field is not a magic talisman.
No worries its just an exhibition game anyway. Hope the kids have fun and sit out if they don't feel like playing
Oregon is getting ready for the playoffs. UW is getting ready for 2027

On Monday coaches show Fisch talked a lot about next year
Well, this year is over. We already lost three. Nobody gives a shit about bowl games anymore. He’s excited about his young guys and knows we are going to be really good next year.

Do you actually not care or are you saying that because you think that will get you chins around here? We only get to watch 13 games a year im pretty excited for the next 2

Bowl games are fine, but between transfers and the expanded playoff, they are basically a scrimmage.
Still, UW is under .500 bowl win percentage along with some other decent programs, like Oregon.
Win every fucking game.

No, I’m still excited for the games too. I enjoy every all of the games. Bowl games don’t have same luster anymore with the playoff. I don’t think anyone would dispute that.

I don’t see what’s wrong with Fisch being excited about his team next year. He’s excited about a bunch of young guys he recruited playing good ball already and for the future.
