WHO WINS or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Beat The Ducks

I think Oregon wins. Our offense is not good enough to score the 24+ it will take to win.

WR’s outside of Boston seem to struggle against the good teams. I don’t really remember Boston doing much in our losses either. The OL is a year away from being able to win against the big boys.

I hope we call a lot of Demond designed runs. We don’t have to worry about him getting hurt since this is the last regular season game. That is the only way we get a run game going.

We are capable of winning if we play really well and Oregon plays a B or C game. I think we lose by 7-10.
Yeah, but on the flip side Ohio State is the only program since 2021 that has been able to come into Huskieieieei stadium and walk away with a W.
#1, defending natty champs Ohio State.
I honestly don't know if Oregon is at that level yet.
Washington is better than Penn State, and better than Iowa, and both those teams took Oregon to the absolute wire. The UW crowd in a game like this is better and louder.
Hell, even against Ohio State, Washington did everything but score points. Lots of yards, solid defense. Ohio State just has an amazing defense.
I could easily see Oregon losing this game and UW's receivers suddenly look game breaking.

Demond will have to channel his inner Penix to win this one. I don’t think he has the moxy to deliver the throws into tight windows that it’ll take to win, yet.. Husky D will be valiant but will get worn down 38-13, Lanning leads Shout on the fifty afterwards..
You are absolutely stoned if you actually believe uho wins by 25 inside Husky Stadium on Saturday. You are either stupid or that score is wishful thinking.

I've decided I hate watching Demond play. Not as much as I hated Brownsox, but it's getting close to that level. If this is a "he'll do anything it takes to win the game" scenario, I don't think we have much of a chance.
Also, do we know if Boston is actually going to be playing at anything close to 100%?

It's a no more excuses game for Demond. He hasn't been able to do much of anything, particularly with his legs, against good defenses - including at home against Ohio State. This is the cap of his first season as a starter, it's at home, and Oregon's defense is good, but one a good QB can make plays against. No more getting sacked by DTs. Their LBs aren't Ohio States. All I can really picture him doing is being super tight with the ball and getting sacked a lot or throwing two pick sixes. No in between for some reason.
I don't have much confidence UW will be able to run at all though and that's going to make things really tough for him.
I think Walters in Husky Stadium could have some pretty good stuff to keep it low scoring but not if they have to constantly go out on the field.

Oregon plays much better on the road where they're in real stadiums with real fans. Sad but true.

I’ve noticed this, too. I think they’ve bred a culture where they relish winning on the road and getting to taunt opposing fans more than winning at home. Don’t think that’s an entirely bad thing, after Oregon struggled on the road for the entire Cristobal tenure. But it’s weird seeing Oregon have multiple mediocre performances at autzen per year, now.

The allegedly great Husky O line that has folded like a cheap tent when facing a physical defense is why I lean Oregon
Demond looking shitty is related
Wisconsin punked them like Ohio State groz
Prove me wrong or shelve the extension talk

Oregon has a pulse.
Keep predicting that UW is going to beat a good team for the very first time under Fisch. Surely it will be right sooner or later. Sign the extension!

Roll with the exact line and players you have been. Don't want guys that have been hobbling around for a month+

I think oregon is the worst of the top tier and Washington is the best of the 3rd tier of teams right now. Ducks win 6 if they play 10 times. I don't trust Demond either.
Doogingly if the defense shows up and Boston and Taco are healthy I think the sky is the limit. Lots of different ways UW can punch up here

Oregon has a pulse, but are they better than the teams that have gone 1-26 at Husky Stadium recently since 2021?
I don't think they are much better.

Only 2025 means fuckall, and the answer is yes.
Let's see how this "generational defense" holds up while Jeb and the offense repeatedly trips over their dick in a rivalry game.

The reason I don't have a problem with Coleman is because the instance when he first got injured was against Maryland's prized edge rusher where on a routine run in the first quarter he lowered his shoulder and fucking broke that guy.
That dude couldn't even lift his shoulder off the turf but Coleman was fucked up too. He hasn't been the same since.

Oregon's best win was against a team that lost to Illinois.
They aren't some juggernaut team. Very beatable at home.
They are going to struggle to move the ball.
