Black lives don't matter. Only dead whites who attacked ICE agents. Then leftards care. Really care.

Life in Chicago: While the Mayor Attacks ICE Agents, Gangs Shoot Up Their Rivals in Broad Daylight

We have another video masterpiece of peace and urban harmony from Chicago, otherwise known as America’s largest open-air shooting gallery. While Mayor Brandon Johnson continues to rail against ICE agents rounding up criminal illegals in his dystopian city, four gang members opened up on a rival’s car shortly after noon just across town from hizzoner.

While the shooters only perforated their intended target in the butt-tocks, they did successfully kill the man’s girlfriend with their fusillade of lead. Thankfully and miraculously, the bangers with the blasters somehow missed the toddler in the back seat.

Gabryel Ayers, 26, was driving the car with heavily tinted windows. She was unlucky enough to run into the heavily armed urban scholars who used the white car as target practice. The video showed at least one shooter used a full-auto blaster and a couple of more were firing rifle-caliber handguns.

Put $26 billion on top of a lithium battery and what do you get?

THE EV BUBBLE CONTINUES TO… GOOD LORD, THAT’S A TOTAL IMPLOSION: Jeep maker Stellantis announces a ‘reset’ of its business and massive charges. Shares crumble.

The company said Friday that it would take charges of more than $26 billion, the bulk of which includes write-offs and cash payments for canceled EV products and costs of resizing its EV supply chain.

The announcement sent Stellantis (STLA) shares crashing. They fell as much as 30%.

The strategy revision follows similar — and expensive — actions from Ford and General Motors in recent weeks.

Many carmakers in the United States had invested heavily in EV plans in response to strict environmental regulations put in place by the Biden administration. They also expected some states to follow California and ban sales of gasoline-powered vehicles within a decade.

But the Trump administration has rolled back those emissions rules along with financial support for EVs. It is also challenging states’ authority to set their own tougher rules.

Commenting on the charges of €22.2 billion ($26.2 billion), Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa said they “largely reflect the cost of over-estimating the pace of the energy transition.”

The company also said in a statement that the shift to EVs “needs to be governed by demand rather than command.”
You don’t say.

The people who want electric transportation vehicles already have them in their golf carts at their winter homes in Arizona and Florida. I’m visiting my older daughter in Tucson (graduating senior but moving for a job in Denver before walking graduation) I’m April and she has a golf cart in her living areas.

Not worth commenting further other than it was such a dumb idea to mandate transitioning to EVs with zero recharging infrastructure in place. It’s why Leftists should be rounded up and put on Australia so they can depend fully on Chinese energy.
