I hope the Ukrainians bleed the Russians dry and don't mind the US military industrial complex selling them the weapons to do so. Or better selling weapons to Nato that has been sending their old Soviet kit to Ukraine.

Most of what we have been "giving" is kit that is past its use by date. Himars being one significant exception. It's cheaper to "give" much of it away than pay for disposal or continued storage.
Similarly, we? Are making a killing right now selling nato replacement hardware to allies while they "donate" their Soviet era kit. I can't stress what a massive win that is for the US. Selling 10 new F35's to replace a bunch of migs basically covers all the small arms donations. All while getting some of our lackluster allies(Germany cough) to finally pony up.
Then you get into the "field testing" aspect where things like himars or the new infantry rifle are getting tested in real combat without the fallout of American lives at stake.
We are also managing to completely decimate one of our primary geopolitical rivals military strength at a massive discount with little ancillary risk.
Want to talk about corruption? Sure, let's not write blank checks and have decent oversight. We could use a hell of a lot more of that in general...

By the way Biden has helped Russia get the band band back together. The new lineup of Axis of Evil with some old members like Iran and China joining in and bringing along the Saudis and India among others.
