Sayin is making his first ever road start to the loudest environment in college football, where UW has won 22 in a row.
The UW offense is legitimately great. Too many threats to contain. Demond will have to be a bit more cautious and throw the ball away instead of playing superman and taking sacks. But they will get it done.
Ohio State is going to struggle to adjust to the crowd noise and will struggle to move the ball. I think UW blitzes far more than the conservative 4 man rush MO they did the first 3 weeks.
On the flip side, UW probably loses at Maryland.
I don't see us beating the #1 team after what I saw this week. I recognize it was a greased up Cuog in Pullman, but that was a one score game in the 4th quarter.
Our offense looked good, but there are concerns going into conference play. Aside from Boston, we? didn't have a WR with more than 1 catch vs Wazzu. If a team shuts down Boston, the offense will be in trouble. UW doesn't have a proven WR2, hope Evans fills that role. The running game is encouraging, but the number of negative rushing yards/plays makes me pause.
The defense is going to lose us games this season. There is zero quality depth in the secondary, they commit dumb penalties at bad times, and have trouble getting off the field.
Great to see Grady nail a long one.
WATBS, I've been waiting for a true dual threat QB since Tui. Demond has looked good vs non-conf., hope that continues into conf. play.
