I had suspicions about DeBoer going all the way back to when Grubb "interviewed" at A&M and Alabama at the end of 2022. Shocking coincidence these interviewed at the two big jobs that were likely to open up after 2023.
I figured fuck it and let's see what happens in 2023 though. Get the most out of it. I've said it 10 times but Grubb giving some personal message after the first Oregon win was a terrible feeling.
I think we were all distracted by the season and didn't think about it and doom and gloom as much as we should have.
Need to have the next move already set up. If this guy really wants to take the fucking graveyard that is the UCLA job my gawd.

If Fisch takes the UCLA gig WDWHA because he is a full blown loser. Nobody who gives a shit about winning wants to work at UCLA.

Kellen Moore is having a rough first season as a head coach with a historically bad franchise. Maybe Kellen would pull a Saban, quit the NFL and take over UW with Kirby as OC. Kellen seems like a pretty mellow, low key guy but he keeps selling himself to billionaires for big NFL jobs. Maybe he can sell high school kids on himself. Kirby has been a successful SEC OC. He knows what modern college football looks like. I wouldn’t be pissed if this happened.

Chip after he failed out of the NFL and was a college retread looking for a paycheck.
Mora because that was his best option after failing out of the NFL.

Point being, nobody goes to UCLA to move their career forward. If Jedd has any ambition he's not going to UCLA.

As I said to HB, that's not the point. All three of those guys care deeply about winning. The only possible caveat is the rumors that Chip got lazy after getting big money. But I'm not sure if that's true. It's possible that people caught up to his innovations and it leveled the playing field against him.

UCLA just isn’t a good enough job, I don’t think Florida gets down to him on their list, LSU isn’t going to hire him and possibly doesn’t even know he exists, Auburn fans might burn the place down if they hire another coach from the PNW. Say whatever you want about Dannan but that hire was all about shifting away from the stank of Jen and the underlying rot of the AD
