Warning

Too many personal attacks on this bored. Moderating this bored is not fun. You all act like a bunch of spoiled children most of the time. If I have to warn you again, you'll be sitting on the sidelines. I can't wait for the higher level discussion bored where I can discuss football in a civilized manner with my fellow moderators and Dawgnews.

This is my 1000th warning to you all. I post a warning like this every 8 days. Respect the business.

I wonder if he realizes that posting like that only makes people less interested in that site? Does anybody want to frequent a forum where one of the owners scolds you like you're a misbehaving 3 year old? Seriously - if you want to maintain a certain level of decorum, then either get mods that will appropriately mod the site, or STFU and just accept it.

The only people who act like 3 year olds are the little cunts that run that place over there. When people flip them shit for ALWAYS being wrong (people pay you $10 a month to be right) they freak out and delete everything or tell people to grow up and "how were we suppose to know?"

It is funny, in every other business when you don't perform typically you have a good amount of people unhappy with you (whether it be the people that sign your checks or customers).

Apparently Doogman is a special biz that is allowed to never deliver on the product they offer without being open to criticism.

The bottom line is that Kim gets off the record stuff from Woody and Sark. He's not going to jeopardize that by letting criticism of those two on his main board. He's changing his boards around to fit his agenda. He's seriously worried that if Sark gets fired (no matter how unlikely that will be), he loses his key to the cookie jar. That's the reason for a new board.

Kim's motivation is access. His first critique of Willingham was that they closed off the team hotels on the road where Kim used to run around with his own homer in his sweatpants when Rick was the coach. He wants so badly to be an important media guy in Husky football and sports in the Seattle scene that its painful to watch.

Yep. Kim didn't care that Ty was a proven loser, he didn't like Ty because he received no access. Even then though he still defended Ty on his message board.

I'd love to live in a world where UW hires a good coach who is also a prick to the media. So our program is better AND guys like Kim aren't receiving access.

I'll disagree with you that Kim defended Ty. I thought he was critical of Ty, just not enough. But the problem is that Kim and Fleenor don't care as much about the W's as they do about access. If Ty would have won, Kim would still be pissing and moaning about the lack of access. Now that we have a mediocre coach rather than a completely worthless one, Kim - rather than looking at all of Sark's fuck ups - defaults to access as the tiebreaker. I'm sure in his head Kim thinks, "Well, he's a .500 head coach, but he gives me off the record stuff when it comes to recruiting so I like him."

I don't think Kim is a good guy..but I will say this..I talked to him before the Hawaii game and he communicated he thought Ty sucked as a coach and a person. He said the decision had been made that Ty was gone, win or lose after that game (great insider knowledge as always). So as of December 2007, at least in private, Kim was not in Ty's camp. And yes,it was probably more to do with access than wins, but still.

Defend was the wrong choice of words but he wasn't as vocal about Ty as he obviously felt about Ty. Perhaps I'm giving Dawgman too much credit in 2007 but had they really pushed firing Ty and the Husky Honks really pushed firing Ty instead of playing it safe I think he is fired.

The rest of your statement is spot on. Kim would rather have a Sark and his record coach this team than a Kelly/Belicheck type with their records coach our team.

He's journalist. He's not supposed to be fan. Or so we're told.

He's neither a journalist nor a fan.

He's a publicity whore.
