The bottom line is that Kim gets off the record stuff from Woody and Sark. He's not going to jeopardize that by letting criticism of those two on his main board. He's changing his boards around to fit his agenda. He's seriously worried that if Sark gets fired (no matter how unlikely that will be), he loses his key to the cookie jar. That's the reason for a new board.

Kim's motivation is access. His first critique of Willingham was that they closed off the team hotels on the road where Kim used to run around with his own homer in his sweatpants when Rick was the coach. He wants so badly to be an important media guy in Husky football and sports in the Seattle scene that its painful to watch.

Yep. Kim didn't care that Ty was a proven loser, he didn't like Ty because he received no access. Even then though he still defended Ty on his message board.

I'd love to live in a world where UW hires a good coach who is also a prick to the media. So our program is better AND guys like Kim aren't receiving access.

I don't think Kim is a good guy..but I will say this..I talked to him before the Hawaii game and he communicated he thought Ty sucked as a coach and a person. He said the decision had been made that Ty was gone, win or lose after that game (great insider knowledge as always). So as of December 2007, at least in private, Kim was not in Ty's camp. And yes,it was probably more to do with access than wins, but still.

Kim never liked Ty, but it all stemmed from Ty shutting down Spring Ball to the public which is where his "These are HIS Washington Huskies." If Ty would have treated him better and gave him access, he would have supported him until 0-12.

This is just purely speculation, but I think Woodward and/or Sark approached Kim and told him there would be rewards for keeping the boards with a postive slant towards UW. Kim defends every single criticism about Sark and Woodward. Not some of them, not most of them, but every single one. They fed him bullshit and he ate it up because he was so thrilled to be acknowledged by the big guns at UW.

Kim may think he gets scoop from the AD and coaches, but it is really just bullshit propaganda. They don't give a shit about giving Kim honest scoop.

I'm still waiting for all this info from all the "access." Bob Condotta reported more thorough stuff and more frequently. What did Bob have to do?

The guys at dawgman are lazy and are the biggest fucking hacks compared to Condotta. Kim thinks Sark telling him, "This is our most athletic team" is scoop. Or Cozzetto telling him "The OL will be improved." "The new stadium will be a game changer."These coaches just give him bland statements about the team and recruiting.

Bob was a legit journalist, with REAL credentials that worked at a paper - a shitty paper but a paper nonetheless. Kim runs a third rate website with late 90's technology and looks like a midget porn hustler...there is not much of a comparison here.
