UW Couch Sales & Purchases (Portal Tracker)

Parker twins in the portal. I feel bad for them in terms of all of their injury problems but probably better that they move on (hopefully after getting their degrees). Maybe they go to Western or Central Michigan, much closer to home.

Going to be pissed when they are all WAC selections because they finally stayed healthy for a full year.

Are the Parker twins officially Doog Legend status or are they on the periphery? I remember how that fraud Courtney Morgan "discovered" those guys playing 8-man football at some tiny high school in the rural Midwest and they were gonna be the diamonds in the roughiest of all diamonds in the rough. Obviously they were constantly injured but even when they weren't, they didn't really do shit.

I vote Periphery.

I was getting closer to getting Doogish on Jayvon Parker during the Rutgers game and then he blew out his Achilles. He had been showing up more as a 3-tech who could also hold up against the run. They could simply never get healthy...both would have major injuries and then follow it up with moderate injuries.

It's best for both parties to move on because UW needs more reliable / less injury prone DTs with more upside (such as the Miami guy) and they could get some decent dollars and PT at a non P4 school. If they stay healthy, they both could appeal for 6th year Medical redshirts and get some more dollars.

Ugh, looks like Jonathan Epperson is in the portal. I thought he could be a starter in 2027 after Manu and Buddha move on, at the very least in the two deeps as a RS-Soph.

He’s 6’ tall. They really seem enamored with recruiting bigger LB. ZRS, Don Robinson, Tokio and Ramzac are all over 6’3” or 6’4”

I just read an article about how Cigarette evaluates players. He wants "productivity over potential," and avoids bringing in players based on their upside. In other words, this guy wouldn't get a sniff from Indiana.

So, he should be good I guess.
I read the article and remembered some posters here than ran the recruiting board that said high school stats don’t matter. It didn’t matter that Savell Smalls had no sacks, he was good.
