House was a promising, undersized, true frosh player that looked good at home against soft west coast teams and got ran over by the bigger teams on the road.
Sucks if we lose him, but it likely means he wanted a lot of $$$ and for whatever reason UW didn't think that was feasible, maybe for locker room morale. Who knows.
Or maybe USC is so desperate they called him up and offered him a shit ton of money. Or his agent fisched around for it.
Who fucking knows. It's the wild west. But nothing about House at this point has said "irreplaceable".

A health Durfee would be nice next year. The script says it doesn't happen.
Our defensive gameplan against WSU was complete shit. I focused on watching Durfee a lot in that game, ready to doog.

But I did take a short walk for perspective, in my mind… scary as shit.
I was wondering why the fuck I was going all Tyrone biggums with posting every fucking tweet. Well, I figured that some how, with recruiting, and now more so the portal, I’m able to doog and get giddy about potential instant impact guys.
Kind of like the childhood excitement for Santa or the beginning of the season when everyone’s undefeated and “this is our year.” My inner doog has been stomped out for the most part but for some reason it comes out with recruiting - now the portal.
Until we lose a recruit to Tennessee that went to UA and then I’m back to FYFMFE mode.
