I buy one side of beef now each year from a rancher in Hysham, Montana whose cattle are open field raised and it’s just pure yet still has some nice fat/salt in the prime cuts.
Yeah, I’m not buying elk.Grass-fed beef needs to be finished with grain for at least a month before it's butchered to be tolerable. Way too lean.
