tOSU

holy fuck

just saw the osu score

52-0 against #13 wisconsin with 3rd string QB? how does this team not make the final 4?

Ohio's results today will come down to how much people view their win against Wisconsin as a sign of how good they are versus how piss poor Wisconsin was.

Wisconsin is a decent team with the best RB in the country. 59-0 is very, very impressive.

Arizona and Wisconsin aren't great teams, but getting plungered doesn't make them horrible. Nobody was talking about Wisconsin being a dreckfest before the game.

Fuck Texas. Leave them both out

People were wondering how OSU was going to stop Gordon and deal with a 3rd string QB.

No doubt ... that was Ohio's best performance of the season tonight by far. Credit to them for their performance. I didn't think that they would beat Wisconsin and definitely didn't expect the game to be a blowout in either direction.

The #script has been set for a while for the Big 10 to come in and backdoor their way into this situation.

My hope is that if Ohio does take the place of either Baylor or TCU, that they prove themselves to be worthy of the spot with their performance and we don't see the typical Big 10 performance where they get plungered by a better team.

End of day, it's Baylor and TCU vs. an outright conference champion with a following.

tOSU is a bigger financial draw ...

If it was Texas ... they would go.

Unfortunately this is how I see it playing out as well given that almost everything tends to come back to being politically driven at this kind of level.

I think TCU is better than Baylor. I think both of these teams are deserving of having a chance to play for a title and it is very difficult to say that they are worse than teams that would be included. There's a lot of hair splitting in these teams to me.

At the end of the day though, it comes down to perception and politics.

Interesting scenario/idea to think of:

How would TCU be viewed had Baylor lost tonight? A lot of the arguments being made in support of Baylor would be immediately reversed in that scenario.

I find it hard to believe tOSU doesn't make it in under any scenario.

Big 12 has to find 2 more members or this is going to be the standard.

Round Robins are bad for business.

Ultimately the ref who didn't call PI at the end of the game in the TCU game ... cost Big 12 the dance ticket.

virginia tech says lol

Worse loss than Arizona?

Probably but it's irrelevant at this point which is why PGOS would bring it up.

First game for freshman QB after your Heisman candidate goes down. A power 5 non conference game. Had they played SMU they'd be unbeaten

If the committee is serious about the schedule Ohio State is in

A loss is never irrelevant in this system.

HTH
