He actually wound up playing pretty well in the Spring game. He's had a miserable Spring and the press down there has been on him from the beginning. But he did break out in the Spring game.
All Manny wants at this point is competition. There hasn't been any at that position in a while.
Nothing like the wolves nipping at your heels to get peak performance out of you. It's human nature.

One big difference between them is that Martell can run. Heaps had to make it happen as a real QB.
Martell is a great runner. He will run from program to program to program. Perry is gonna win that job. Martell will run away from competition, again.
