Steinbach is good. He doesn’t lack a killer instinct. Maybe he does, but that’s not really a problem. He is one guy. He’s a moderately skilled big guy. He’s not a take the game over type. He can’t shoot or handle the ball well enough to do that and he’s not a freak athlete.

Diallo is good and has improved.

The rest of the team is awful. They can’t shoot, they aren’t very athletic, and they play dumb.
 
Eh, I just wasn't that impressed for most of the season.

He's no daWg like fucking Thybulle, who the second he steps on the court coming back from missing the entire year to injury he's just all up in people's faces immediately getting steals and blocking passes.
 
Sprinkle gets T'd up twice to give 0regon 4 free throws on top of a 1 + 1 at end of game. If your coach doesn't know better how are your players going to? UW was down one at the time after trailing by 21 and then taking a small lead. Something like 2.5 left on clock.

Sprinkle rage quitting like that was the best coaching move he's made all season long.

Peterson also a major reason they choked that away obviously.
 
God our fucking dumb fucking urban Seattle fans on Twitter. There's a guy that just clearly doesn't want a white UW Men's basketball coach, that's what it's always been about for him, already saying "We'll never make the tournament again!"

The only thing worse than the basketball team are the dedicated UW basketball fans that are still stuck in Fultz/Romar land about that hypothetical team with Murray, Chriss, and Fultz that never happened.

Basnight still jacking off furiously to the Micheal Porter team that wouldn’t have made the tournament? Fucking hell.
 
Romar deserves credit but back then Suckattle had probably the most basketball talent per capita in the US. IDK about now. Even Venoy Overton was probably CBA or some decent Euro league talent if he wasn't pimpin' hos.

We haven't made a tournament in seven years now. That's pretty bad.

UW has made 1 tournament in 15 years. I could argue they are one of the very worst P4 programs in MCBB over that span at maximizing talent. They have .500 AIDS. They hover around that record every year no matter who is on the team. Hopkins last team led by Brooks was really talented. They should have easily been a tournament team in a bad P12. This year’s team has kicked five close games they should have won if not for what Sprinkle described in post game pressers as the players lack of focus or energy. Seattle U. (Lack of energy), UCLA at home (lack of focus in the first half), at Maryland (lack of energy), Penn State (lack of energy), at Oregon (lack of focus early, mental retardation late). That’s a 20-11 11-9 team that’s probably an 8-9 seed in the tournament. That’s what this team should be but they consistently show up to games unprepared to play high leverage basketball games. Whose fault is that? Injuries aside, those five games against three awful B10 teams, one decent B10 team at home and one middle of the pack WCC team are unforgivable and were right there to be had but they just couldn’t get their minds right. That’s on Sprinkle.

There’s still massive talent in Seattle/Tacoma.

Rainier Beach has two #1 in their class recruits. Lincoln has the #1 PG in next years class.

UW is simply so inept that it is not even in the conversation any longer for the one and dones.
