Yeah. If there was ever a season actually decimated by injuries, this is it. But, no excuses.
I just want them to play one game, ONE GAME, like it is lose or go(stay) home. Because today's game is.
I don't see how they come back from that shitshow in the second half.
I don't know what UCLA's record even is but the static on my timeline from their coach's whining and bitching about everything make me think they're roughly an 8-10 seed.
Asking this team to win the next 6-7 games plus they'd face another white cornfield sloth team in the first round of the B1G that will shoot them out of the gym.
On side note, the marketing/social media for a terrible college basketball team is worse than any other pro or college sport. Nobody wants to watch that shit if you're this bad.

This team is not good at anything. Not really bad per se, but not good at anything. All of Sprinkles MSU and Utah State teams were really average in offensive and defensive metrics. I was hoping that maybe grit, moxie or some intangible made his teams win. If that was so, I haven’t seen it in two years at UW. They’re loose with the ball, they don’t move without the ball well and if you’re going to be poor offensively you’d better be fucking tough like St John’s, Houston or Michigan State. Nope, not super tough either. After every game they take their hat off and throw it in the floor.
I’m not sure if Montana State ever won the Big Sky regular season under Sprinkle and Utah State is a mid major basketball factory. Everyone wins there and their 15,000 per game fan base pisses all over anything UW rolls out at Hec Ed. I’m just not seeing it. Last, can UW head coaches just stop hiring former players to be assistants? ISO for your best player 1 on 1 like they played under Romar isn’t offense unless you’ve got Roy or IT of course. Just get the best minds in the room and go. Trading Bland for Gaddy was a blow.

Financially speaking it’s probably a year too soon to move on even if they wanted to. Sprinkle makes like 3.5 million, can UW really eat 3 years of that salary and then overpay a decent coach to fix this shit show?
IMO next year will be staff shakeups officially putting Sprink on the hot seat. If UW was a basketball school this year may have been it. They aren’t and it isn’t.
Yeah I was going to mention that with the money being spent on talent now, and yes the fact that neither of our main coaches were his guys, if he's going to be less traditional with the rope these guys are getting. Maybe he doesn't care and thinks he'll be somewhere else in the B1G before any of it is really his problem. But I doubt he's going to want to be attached this either of these guys much longer with how embarrassing they've been in the last month+.
He's probably also pretty sick of just beating Maryland/UCLA/Boise immediately has Jedd's agent putting his name out there, the unneeded bad press with the family leaving Seattle, etc. Only a raise to Walters also somewhat telling.

They're saying on the call that UCLA is a bubble team. They're 8-4 in conference while UW is 4-8.

Sprinkle took over for Odom at Utah State. He had them loaded.
Fucking AD could have backed up the truck and took Tommy Lloyd. Instead more Hop and Sprinkle bullshit.
Marv is spinning in his grave. This program sucks and will continue to suck as long as this guy is in charge.
How’s the round ball squad doing thus far?
Sprinkle did take over for Odom but Odom left him nothing. Sprinks one season at USU was with an entire roster built through the portal. He brought some guys with him from MSU but everyone else he either recruited or transferred in. That’s kinda what gave me hope for him at UW. I figured he was a good talent evaluator and a great judge of character. Maybe he is but at the B10 level he just can’t seem to squeeze juice from the fruit.
Stewart is always down for a brawl.
Yeah Dan, 1 tournament appearance in 15 years === we should be more worried about *losing* Sprinkle.
At some point you have to admit that nobody's "complaining" about the team nor being unfair to Sprinkle. Shockingly disappointing season, your words buddy.

Kinda wild that a team led by this guy and McDaniels was soft as shit. Hopkins found a way
