Holy Fucking Shit. I want to like Sprinkle. Doog about him growing up a Doog and doog it up. But fuck tonight was tough. Utilizes a 1-3-1 matchup zone at the end of the first half. Goes on run. Never utilized in the second half. Offense in first half, emphasis on getting to the rack. The fact this team can't get to the bonus until refs decide to even things up late is a glaring statistic. Outscored 43-26 in the second half. The offense is on your fucking end of the court. Kudos to Iowa for actually consistently running an offense and hitting some big shots. Zoom with too many turnovers. Huskyhooligan curse of dooging. FMFYFE PBHAMD
 
JJ out for the year. Rencher has a heart issue, his future Status up in the air. TSIO. You just can’t lose that game. Sprinkle ain’t the guy. If everyone still wants the pea patch back, start it at HecEd. It’s fucking cursed anyway. So many NBA guys have played there since 2012 and nothing worth writing about has happened. It’s mind numbing.
 
Sprinkle is so bad. When he started losing it toward halftime, that looked like a guy that knows tsio.

I like the comments during the game, "Yeah Iowa doesn't get athletes so they go out and get guys that can pass, dribble, and shoot"

What the fuck are we spending our money on? Big Franc blocks that do nothing in the end? Can't dribble, definitely can't shoot.
 
Have we been to the tournament since? I don't know

I believe those are the 4 coaches that made at least the sweet 16

Yeah we got s glimpse of how fun basketball can be in 2018 when we had a pretty balanced tram with a current Portland Trailblazer and made it to the round of 32. We were happy to receive a giant tarheel dong after that.

It is stupid easy to win with the money and environment you're given as the basketball coach. You can buy your way into a good/great season if you have the money and you're not a shit coach. The problem is obvious. Dannen has now struck out on the football and the bball coach and I doubt Chung is going to rip the bandaid off this season.

I looked it up. Of the top 25 portal teams last year UW, Oklahoma (they’ll fire their coach), Kansas State (They’ll fire their coach), LSU (They’ll fire their coach), Maryland, possibly Baylor (Beat UW) and Creighton won’t make the tournament. 7 out of 25, 3 coaches that’ll get fired for being awful two that have some gravitas for past success and then Sprinkle and Buzz Williams who’s a proven winner wherever he’s been. Realistically Baylor and Creighton could still go on a heater and get in. Pair UWs consensus top 13 portal class with their consensus top 15 high school class and it looks even worse. I’m out on the sprinkles. He’s not even close to being the guy.
 
I was pretty stoked in the first half last night but when I saw they were shooting like 80% from the field and were only up a few points I got nervous. Painful second half that reverted to offense and defense looking like highschoolers

Literally last night as I angry walked to my car (home) about how many times they got a mismatch in the post and the guard was too fucking scared to make the pass. Fellas have been on campus for probably six months now, how have they not figured it out? That said, to point to a Spencer Hawes tweet, about the ball moving through Hannes, I don't think he's a very skilled passer at this point. LoRo no using Hawes in the high post was abysmal as Hawes had vision and touch. Hannes needs another year. Zoom definitely needs another year. Will they be here? Who knows. PBHAMD
