The Fisching Report Recruiting Thread Sponsored by The Fisch Bowl

Ploog and his wandering eyes in attendance last night. Any coincidence that Fish featured the TE in the passing game more than at any other time in the season? Me thinks not.

Keep winning and we see a recruiting and portal jump in interest in coming to the greatest setting

Hadn't really thought about portal but it could be big (if true). Kids (and donors) may have been hesitant last year because they were signing up for a rebuilding process and complete unknown but close with momentum this year and that change.

My expert analysis:
-Couldn't have asked for a better game or environment to show off the program. That's not always the case for UW games. There's something different about big time football in Husky Stadium when it hits.
-Good to see Ploog up again. I won't feel good until he's signed but him making it to two-straight home games in a good sign and they used the TE well and it's clear playing time is there next year.
-It looked like the Portland OT was there. Another guy I won't feel good about till he's signed. How good the OL looks despite what it was going into the season shows excellent coaching/development.
-I'm curious on Langi. They already have five OL commits and only lose two guys to graduation this year. HE has good offers but I really look at guys' official visits now more and he's only gone to Arizona. I trust the staff though.
-I never get excited about guys who are more than one year out in class. Seems like a lot of big time guys unofficially visit a ton of places for games they aren't actually interested in at all.
