the DAWGS

Well-known poster
17 wins in a row at home
25 wins in their last 27 games
A program with those metrics does not lose to fucking Rutgers
I like the DAWGS in this one

They just lose to the cuog.
Yeah, that's an asterisk. This coug team could go 12-0 or 11-1 and get ass blasted in the first 12 team playoff, though.
Coug would also beat Rutgers. They almost Couged it at home against a scrappy SJSU team, but they are good enough this year to avoid the letdown loss

Lines opened at -3.5 Buttgers, already down to -2.5

PGOS helped. Gonna make back my Apple Cup money. The hooks helped today too

Jedd's first true road test. If I had seen a team that had its shit together I would be optimistic about a Dawg win.
So far I don't see the kind of moxie or offensive plan that translates to road wins. I remember a Browning and Gaskin squad that barely scraped by a shittier version of the Scarlet Knights.
Rutgers is a pretty solid squad, not flashy but they won't fuck up and give UW the win.
I'm calling a Husky L.

Browning and Gaskin won that game rather easily, say 30 to 14?

Washington 30-14 Rutgers (Sep 1, 2017) Game Recap - ESPN
More tense than it needed to be. In the words of ESPN, "Jake Browning threw two second-half touchdown passes in a tougher-than-expected 30-14 victory Friday night."
Key part, "tougher-than-expected." Much more needn't be said.

Any out of conference game was tough for Petersen

It was hard.

From what I've seen so far, there's a moderate chance this team could hit the skids and lose their next 6.
Their road schedule is tougher than it appears on paper. Don't assume wins at both Rutgers and Indiana. Putting up only 24 on Northwestern at home is a massive red flag.
It's cool to be Nega again.

UCLA might be the only “maybe?” game left on the schedule

What a gay ass thing to say.
"I'm hearing there's a moderate chance they lose the next 6 games. If they do I'm a genius but if they beat Rutgers ass and go 5-1 then things change"
If you want to be nega then say with your chest. Do they win on Friday? Are they a bad team?
If they lose the next 6 games I'll buy your Wam next year. If they don't you buy mine.
