As your newly appointed Doog in Chief, the biggest concerns I have is our Center play and penalties. I don’t see them as monumental hurdles. We have enough physicality on O and especially D(I said this defense was as good or better than last season before it started). We are going to couch up some games later this season for sure, but just sit back and enjoy the grind back to prominence.

I’ve got 5 reasons why this is actually not a valid concern.

I hope the team isn't overlooking Rutgers the way the Doogs on this bored are this week. Short week to prepare, first road game of the year, long travel. There are a lot of things stacking up against UW. Also, UW hasn't shown anything to prove the team is actually decent to good.

I will be happy with a 1 point win but it's the boot shaking that is ridiculous

I'm not boot shaking about Rutgers being a great team. The reality is that UW hasn't shown anything that would indicate it's a good team, and this is the first road game for this staff and it's a short week. My concerns are much more about UW than Rutgers.

I’m still trying to get ahold of the hot tub tickets. Does anyone know if they check you for skin diseases before you get in? A little worried they might find out about my friend’s STDs. Damn right there is validity to it. I didn’t pay an arm and a leg to fly out to New Jersey just to sit in the nose bleeds. I want the big black experience that the university has been promoting.

Jedd's first true road test. If I had seen a team that had its shit together I would be optimistic about a Dawg win.
So far I don't see the kind of moxie or offensive plan that translates to road wins. I remember a Browning and Gaskin squad that barely scraped by a shittier version of the Scarlet Knights.
Rutgers is a pretty solid squad, not flashy but they won't fuck up and give UW the win.
