The Costco thread

You will use half as many sheets to get the job done with the Bounty rolls.
We live in the only development that's walkable in a 3-mile or so radius. 45 houses. A decent number of people drive in from the surrounding areas where they live on 2 - 5 acre lots. Definitely not 5 Costco bags worth of kids, though.
 
I think the max amount of candy we ever needed from Costco for the trick or treaters was 3 bags.

@BleachedAnusDawg had me feeling like a pour and we both know I'm way more baller so had to go Bounty.
Also, got 5 bags of diabetes for the kids.
I guarantee you guys I get more trick or treaters than anyone on this board. It's fucking nuts.

We don’t get enough trick or treaters here to worry about even being home. Mrs Nacho puts out a bowl of candy with a note saying to take a handful.
When we lived in Burien, we had boatloads of kids. We were close enough to the shitty apartment complexes that they could infiltrate our neighborhood on foot. I bought a little hand counter ticker thing and counted. We had over 110 kids one year.
 
I still don’t trust Kirkland brand. Probably shitty versions of Duracell batteries.

One time I bought a Coleman cooler. One of those keep ice in 90 degrees for 5 days jobs. I was at Walmart which is rare. They had the same cooler but for way less. I bought one. Went camping and the next day the ice in one was half gone. Compare the two walls of the coolers. Cheap version walls were way thinner. I ended up selling that cheapo version for almost what I paid for it.

Buy cheap, buy twice. And you generally get what you pay for.

I give each kid 2 pieces. Guessing we get 300 trick or treaters give or take.
 
Got two Imperial American Wagyu NY Strips at Costco this past week for 26.99 per pound. Best fucking steaks I've ever grilled at home and better than most fancy steak dinners I've had eating out in Seattle.
They still blade tenderize them @BleachedAnusDawg which is shit AF. I still at them medium rare and didn't get sick.
 
Costco staples for me and Mrs flatus (I think these are all Kirkland brand):
  • Smoked turkey breast, $4.79 lb. I eat this with homemade pesto and tomatoes almost every day for lunch. Best deal IMHO.
  • Rotisserie chicken. I pull the meat (lol) and make 4 L of stock from the bones and random vegetables
  • Seedless lemons
  • Olive and avocado oil
  • Bulk coffee, although the price has surged 25% in the last 6-9 months.
  • Raw unsalted cashews. Cannot beat the price per ounce
  • Salmon and sweet potato dog food. Easily 50-60% less than reputable competitors.
  • Bulk frozen/peeled garlic. We cook with so much garlic, this is gold
These items alone pay for our membership in the first 3 months. Hell, the turkey breast pays for our membership in the first 3 months.

Should be a great cut that doesn't need to be tenderized. Costco are retards.
 
Someone, somewhere in this thread mentioned the Puma socks. I can’t remember if I bought them before or after they were mentioned. They got thrown out 2 weeks after buying them and trying to wear them a few times.

Mrs Nacho and I have a similar type list of Costco staples:
  • Kirkland brand coffee
  • Daves killer bread
  • Grapes - I have to pace myself and not eat half a container of grapes before getting home.
  • Olive oil, basalmic vinegar
  • Organic ground beef for dog food
  • Irish butter
I pretty much only put gas in the cars at Costco anymore.
And for those wondering g, I get the nacho cheese sauce bulk orders delivered to the house.

The NZ Kirkland butter I think is a better value and just as good as Kerry Gold.
Love the olive oil and avo oil. I get all my steak and taco seasonings there as well.
I just wish Oregon wasn't so lame and I could start getting booze at Costco.
 
My wife canceled the Costco membership to go full on Amazon
Might want to tell the finance boys to adjust the recommendations accordingly
 
I don't drink much anymore, but yesterday I had a 24oz Mac and Jacks and a 24oz Silver City Tropic Haze IPA at the one bar in Vancouver that has Husky shit.
It just so happened that the delivery guy for both beers was there, so he paid for my tab.
This is all to just say that I drank 48 oz of beer for free and for no reason other than to just be a retarded doog that picked the "right" beer choices.
Edit: see this is in th Costco thread. Oh well.
