You can really tell which people have negotiated business deals and contracts and which have not, even on this board.
Some of the TugTards here have a child-like perspective on the real world and how things get done.

Explain to me how Trump “bluffed” by delaying tariffs on Mexico and seeing if they follow through on their commitment to troops at the US border.
 
I'm a Keynesian, and I support the tariffs. The "free trade" agreements help the one or two percent and hurt many every day Americans. Most of the same people and media shrieked at the tariffs in 2018 and 2019, and inflation was under two percent in 2021. Imagine that. It's a hard nosed negotiating tactic. Nothing more. Even though I'm dumb, I managed to get over a 3.0 in econ classes decades ago.

Does anyone think he knows how stupid he sounds on this topic? Its like he only read a CNN post that didn't detail anything that really happened. Someone who has no idea what it is to run a business or handle a negotiation.

You forgot to mention that the tariffs are on a one-month hold for a wait and see. Seems like something a leftist would do.
