Good topic on Say Who Pod around the NFL Combine - who were the Huskies you thought were surefire NFL guys, whether they panned out or not. Some of mine:

Jerramy Stevens - 6'7 with his athleticism I thought the Seahawks got a steal. I knew there was off-field stuff. Didn't know how bad it was. The fact that he had himself in such good position in that Super Bowl showed he was a guy but lacked the mental part.

Reggie Williams - So big, so strong, so fast, hands. Felt like a Shaq Thompson type just obvious 5 star, obvious college star, at least career NFL guy.

Shaq Thompson - Easy one here though I will say his NFL career is kind of like his college career where it felt like he just never quite was electric.

Vita Vea - Just too big of a freak to not be a guy.

Greg Gaines - Most wouldn't think of him like this but I do. Didn't think he would be a star but he was such a backbone for four years and I don't think ever missed a single game I felt there was no way he wouldn't maximize his NFL career. He had a moment with the Rams but I'm guessing his body started to break down given how hard he plays and never takes anything off.

Penix - I'll fired up highlights from 2022-23 and just don't see how he can't be a good NFL QB with his skills unless he just can't stay healthy or not be on a fucked up team. Maybe the best college passer I've seen on any team ever.

I'll throw in Marcus Peters as a bonus if you can forget about the mental part. The guy just looked and moved like a Pro Bowl NFL corner. Case in point he went 18th despite getting kicked off his team. Oh, and McDuffie, assume he's a top 5-10 pick in another era where being 5'10 at the combine wasn't such a detriment.

Ross and McMillan. Speed and how defenses had to gameplan around them, seemed like only injuries could stop them at the next level.
