You're missing the point. He had NO fucking business doing what he did at Boise. And when you do that kind of shit at a shit college like that, everyone else in your conference starts gunning for you. It's why Oregon got fucked up this year, it's why Stanford loses to Utah. ASU puts up 60 on USC. And you're basically saying that a coach whose low point is an 8 win season is overrated...........only if you're Texas.

Personally I think it had more to do with BYU, Ut and TCU leaving Boise with their asses hanging out in the breeze, in the "New WAC".

I think Pete realized any hope of a natty (I like to call it that) was now a fucking dream.

But I'm in LIFPO mode myself...win or GTFO.
 

Any good coach can have a down year, but look at the total record including the up years... Pete has 2 BCS trophies.

Sark's best record so far is the same as Pete's worst year.

The Koetter/Hawkins argument is idiotic. Is Helfreich going to be great because he was promoted from OC to head coach just like Chip? Because that matters, right? Coaches from Boise have sucked so Peterson will suck. OCs being promoted at Oregon have been great so shut the fuck up.

Just curious but if an 8 win season in Boise is a 'dive' then what do you consider the past 5 years under that piece of shit Sark? I'm not saying that CP is the next Don James or anything like that. But, we knew what we had with Sark. He was/is a mediocre coach that truly didn't give a shit about the UW because he saw it as a stepping stone. Add to that Sark would have regular seven win seasons (along with annual 3 game losing streaks) tied together with an occasional 8-9 win season due to the ever softening of the OOC schedule.

I'll give CP the benefit of the doubt for now and LIPO. If he's not the coach to get the team to the next step we'll find out soon enough and then it's simply on to the next one I guess. Either way, I'm just glad that fake, two-faced speaking, piece of shit is gone and no longer represents Husky football. Fuck Sark and all the Doogs who loved him because he was such a 'cool' guy. Yes, that means you Kim & Fatters... You bunch of fucking nut juggling retards!!!

the only thing more trolling/idiotic than this post are duck fans saying, "whatever, they switched out one 8-win coach for another." I'm not saying we're gonna beat them this year, but we'll be a better overall team on day 1 and will be devoid of all the fucktarded penalties/mishaps.
