Apparently, the official mello position is that the reluctant Jewish guests mysteriously "died".

I think we need a cease fire. The bad guys just want to talk. They are just peaceful people too!
Can anyone imagine if a country invaded us, took hundreds of hostages and killed 1200 people at a concert and the surrounding area, that we would listen to America hating countries telling us to stop retaliating and demand that we have a ceasefire?

This could have been avoided if the Palis and Arafat had accepted the two state peace deal in 2000. But the Palis want a "From the River to the Sea" solution and won't accept anything short of that unless forced to. There were no Jews or Israelis in Gaza on October 6, 2023. They had their own state in Gaza. Thank god you aren't a member of my family. A father with no spine or moral backbone isn't something I ever aspired to be.

Police: Man injured 2 Jewish Pitt students with glass bottle near Cathedral of Learning

A man attacked two Jewish University of Pittsburgh students with a glass bottle as they walked through campus Friday evening near the Cathedral of Learning, according to authorities.
The suspect, 52-year-old Jarrett Buba of Oakland, had been sitting at a table across Forbes Avenue from where the students were walking when he ran across the street and attacked them about 6 p.m., police reported in a criminal complaint. 
Police said Mr. Buba was wearing a keffiyeh, a traditional checkered scarf that has come to represent Palestinian solidarity amid the Israel-Hamas war.
One of the students had cuts on his face and the other was bleeding from cuts on his neck, according to police. The students told police they had made eye contact with Mr. Buba from across the street but thought nothing of it and continued walking.
Moments later, police wrote in the complaint, the students were struck from behind. Police said both students were wearing yarmulkes, the traditional cap worn by Jewish men.
