@racebannon has sources saying Associate AD Reed Strong has reached a principal in agreement with Nick Saban.
Serious note, i guess they offered 10 yr/100 million + 1% of longhorn network rev.
Travis B. Hawkes and Race go way back. How does that Bannon guy always have the scoop?
Doesn't anybody recall Saban's flat denial he was leaving the Dolphins for Alabama? Right before he left the Dolphins for Alabama, that is. If I were him I'd jump. Sixth Street in Austin is too hard to pass up.
I don't buy that argument. Look at how quickly he turned Bama around. I see no reason why he couldn't do the same at Texas. Also, resurrecting two storied programs would pretty much cement him as the greatest college football coach of all time, and put him into the conversation for greatest coach in any sport at any level.Saw it. And I'm not buying he wouldn't leave Bama for a final challenge. If he were younger he'd do it in a heartbeat. Age might be the real determining factor if he stays.

He's done two already. Texas would be #3. His rebuild of LSU was a bigger challenge than what he had to deal with when he took over Alabama.
