Nuss wants the job, and Woodward likes Nuss. Nuss has been the plan B guy all along. (Source: more than one insider I have talked to)

If all that is true, Nuss is the guy and should be announced today.

But some say Petersen is still in play. And no one is certain that Woodward isn't talking to other prospects.

My thoughts too. Woodward probably believes he did enough by extending offer to Mora to satisfy himself he has carried out his job responsibilities with due diligence and the fanbase should be convinced he is taking the hiring decision seriously. I think he is relieved Mora said no since he wants Nuss.
