Holy fuckal pup called a 62 for Ricky

Usually one great round wins a US Open but today's game is different

Good for Ricky

Rory is actually playing with Brooksie

After two rounds I like Brooks by 5 to 10 shots

#kissofdeath

My pick is Dustin Johnson

Win some lose some

Sahalee is only like 7000 yards, guaranteed it’s tougher than LACC for the pros.

He did a pup on 2

Fun fact

In 1980 at Baultesrol Nicklaus and Weiskoph each shot a record 7 under 63 day 1.

Jack won at 8 under 272 which was the record for years. Tiger tied it and Rory broke it at rain soft Congressional

The moral is the USGA always strikes back

Miller shot 63 to win at Oakmont in 73. 74 was a blood bath at Winged Foot. Irwin won at 7 over

Thanks grampa

Rory lost it with a wedge from the fairway. Who could have guessed.

Course report - Langdon Farms, 6/17/23

As advertised and as always. I forgot how much I like this place. Perfect conditions and landscaping, perfect greens keeping, laid back atmosphere, and a trouble free, stress free 4 hour round where we were within shouting distance of other groups maybe twice.

After hitting the reserve and Pumpkin Ridge a couple of times I prefer Langdon by a mile and not just because of the superior atmosphere.
It played fairly long from the blue (#7) tees with a lot of holes into the wind. It's still relatively easy tee to green but plenty of trouble around the greens to keep it interesting.

Also we had breakfast and dinner there. The service talent was outstanding and friendly (and cute as fuck) and the menus were solid. On course bloody Mary was spicy and strong.

I give it 4.5/5 all considered. Think it was $130 with a cart but it is a pretty easy walk if one prefers. Highly recommend to any I-5 corridor dwags or quooks who haven't been.
