That pick doesn't even disappoint me. It was bound to happen. Glad he took a chance, even if it wasn't a good one. Better he learns now than we play conservatively all game and definitely lose.

It was like an 8 yard hitch. It wasn't a chance. It was a FS throw into a WR that was bracketed by two guys sitting in zone.

It was a chance. He tried to put a ball somewhere difficult. Maybe it is a mistake to assume he isn't so FS he can't see the defense out there but I think he was aware of what he did. He will make mistakes and I'd rather they happen now. As best I recall he has pretty much been throwing behind the first down marker all game so that was a less conservative play than we've been running
 
Never again will I believe off-season S & C hype.

Its the first half of the first game. No one said we would be good this season, just that S&C was laying a good foundation for the future.

I expected a stout defensive front
