This is going to come across way wrong - but WTF do soldiers think is a possible consequence of joining the military? Sitting around for 25 years, collect pension, start new career?!?

No - it means there is a possibility of being deployed and going into combat. That's the deal.

Godspeed to them and hopefully they all come home, but fuck. That's like joining a tech company and not expecting to use computers or some fuckery.

My cousin and I both got kidney stones after one dose. I don't remember which kind she got, but statistically about one in ten people get KS. I don't know if there's a correlation or not, but the time is suspicious.

Obviously although painful as hell, they are much preferable to cancer and sudden death, but it's not fun and it cost me plenty out of pocket. I had to pay $600 to some quack who never bothered to see me. I guess it's good I had insurance? Next time I'll say I'm illegal and it'll be free.
