That is reality. That's where this is headed. Why is the Pentagon massing troops and asking for $200B supplemental? For funsies? Nah, we're in this shit now. Dead mullahs are great, but you never incorporate the cost to actually prosecute this war to the end state you want. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Toppling the regime will require major sacrifice and economic pain. TACOing out now will leave a pissed off Iran hellbent on revenge and nuke acquisition. It will likely require another war in a couple years. Mowing the lawn, as they say.

That's been my view the whole time and I know you know I'm right.
"We can't drill our way to lower gas prices" said some leftard moron. While the white snowbilly said "Drill Baby Drill". And yet today the official dem position is solar and wind and mythical batteries and that Trump is destroying the environment with removing CAFE requirements and the expiration date for ICE vehicles and opening up drilling on federal lands. Gasoline in Washington has a permanent $1.50 a gallon premium over the national average for gasoline and yet the dems still scream affordability.
Agreed that losing a war will not be popular.
