Official Iran conflict game thread.

What are they going to keep it closed with?
Iran can still lay mines, and attack with cheap drones. But Iran also needs to ship via the Strait, so they are ultimately choking themselves (something familiar to Ern). Their pipeline network can't handle the amount China needs- they are going to starve themselves - the question is how long will it take.

It will take as long as it takes for them to run out of weapons. Choking the supply is high on the list of objectives

And when does China say enough already

US forces are resupplying and are tanned rested and ready for another go

To be clear we're not doing this because it's easy. We're doing it because it's hard

But necessary

A regime that slaughters 40,000 of their own in a month should be taken seriously when they call for your death

Next step will be arming Iranians and letting them take to the streets. We gave the Kurds weapons and they're trying to leverage their fiefdom before handing them out. The IRGC isn't getting paid and guessing that holds true for most groups trying to prop up the regime. Lots of rumors about desertion- There isn't a long-term play for the Mullahs.

Under reported story. Trump said the Kurds kept the weapons

Didn't hear it was the Kurds - but did hear that whoever brokered the deal kept the weapons and didn't get them to the people who could use them in Iran.

You'd think if we could build a fucking airstrip overnight and lift an injured airman out, we could do some drops in the desert of pallets of arms.

Maybe we did and that was just a wink wink deal so the Kurds can defend themselves against Erdogan when he goes mullah mullah mullah post-NATO.

I remember when the Democrats were upset that Trump wasn’t attacking NATO member Turkey because of the Kurds. Now Trump is the bad guy for wanting to reform NATO.
