Bama Oregon and Ohio State traded a bunch of guys with each other
Not real trades but portal stuff
Maybe trades will be next

The only good teams we played were Ohio State and Oregon. Someone could make a weak case for Michigan and Illinois being good, but anyone being honest knows the truthThat schedule was more difficult than just about any Pac 12 schedule UW ever had

It wasnt a bad draw in the B1G but it was significantly harder than most years in the Pac 12.
It was harder than 10 win seasons in 2022, 2018, 2017, and 2016. 2023 was probably a wash, UW got Oregon at home but won road games at scrappy Zona, Beav, and USC.
Recruiting includes keeping good players and getting portalistas, in addition to the high school players.
I would be willing to wager that less than half of the 2025 class will still be at UW this time next year.
Based on all of that, I disagree vehemently that Fisch is a good recruiter.
Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry tells the rental car agent that she knows how to take reservations, but can’t keep them. An important piece of the puzzle.
I've been thinking that the B1G is kind of a joke. The top is better than most of the old P12, but after the 4th team or so, none is really "dangerous" like virtually all of the P12 used to be.
I tried to use this gif the other day, coincidentally in a disagreement with something you said, and it said the file to large.
Agree the old Pac was dangerous most years almost all the way through. You really couldn't take a weekend off unless you had a juggernaut team and even then. Who has forgotten USC when they were rolling with Pete losing to Beavlet in Corvallis. Shit used to happen in the Pac. It's one of the reasons I loved the conference.I've been thinking that the B1G is kind of a joke. The big difference is the offenses. Most of these teams just aren't proficient at moving the ball across the goal line. Bad day on the road? No problem, the opponent can't score anyway.
In the P12, an off night meant Jayden Daniels going nuclear up your ass to ruin your season.
I think the current B12 is harder on a weekly basis than the B1G because there are a lot more dangerous teams. Virtually all of them.

We played teams like Auburn in the offseason back then.UW played 6 opponents coming off a bye which is absurd, and 4 opponents that won 9 games.

Tech could not score a single fucking point on Oregon, BYU got destroyed in their bowl game, and none of the other teams would win even 4 games in the B1G.
Teams like Iowa, Illinois, and even Washington would run a train on that conference.
The B1G lacks the offensive firepower but makes up for it in physicality and defense. It was by far the best conference and that was proven throughout the season and in the postseason.
Indiana curb stomped Bama, Iowa brutalized Vanderbilt, Illinois was clearly better than Tennessee.
The Big 12 is a fucking joke full of programs no one else wanted.

Will try again as this is one of my favorite gifs. Really, all the Ron Burgundy gifs are, when they fit the context, gold.

Hmm. Nothing wrong with that, I suppose.
I knew there was something off about that guy.
Mendoza was on the Today Show this morning.
That dude makes Tebow look like a slut.
I guess the ignore button isn't working.
