You remember anyone talking about Belichick as a reason they signed on? Maybe I’ve heard Sunseri mentioned a couple times but neither of those two have been recruiting these kids for years. If it were one of the Arizona guys I’d be more worried. I think there’s been years worth of contact with those guys and some of this class.

And UNC owes Mack Brown at least $2.8 million so Sunseri may want to stay at UW if he can make significantly more. Bala and Sunseri are scheduled to each make $400k but I'm sure UW would be willing to increase it if it meant keeping continuity on Montlake.

it’s actually going to be sort of a demotion for Steve. At Washington this is HIS defense. At UNC it’s Bill’s defense. Doubt he’ll see it that way being the fake coach in waiting and all but I think it is.
