OFFICIAL Belichick Husky-poaching thread

That's how I remember Husky Stadium when I went to games as a kid in the 80s and 90s. Pretty sure it contributed to my tinnitus.

The elephant in the room is that the stadium was louder pre-renovation.
IMO that has more to do with fan behavior rather than stadium design, Husky fans today aren't nearly as vocal and crazy as they used to be.
I dinstinctly remember the first game post-renovation. We gave it to Boise State and it was as juiced as you could hope for. I could tell that it wasn’t as loud.

It’s still a great atmosphere and advantage, but it’s not as loud.

Move the students back to the 50 and it'll be loud again
Then again, that's a lot of ticket revenue you're giving up from the alums

Are the first half dozen rows that valuable?

One way to look at this… Fisch's desire to appear big-time enabled the snake to enter the garden and take arguably our top two defensive players

I think they were gone whether they went to unc or not, but the optics are bad.

The second they brought in Davis and weren't making prysock earn his position Dixon was gone. He is infatuated with playing on the outside.
House wanted a bigger bag than we wanted to pay so he wasn't staying. I don't know that he was worth overspending on. Maybe I'll be wrong.

I think UW just got out bagged and it didn't have anything to do with Davis and Prysock aside from them cutting into his bag size at UW. Papa Belichick liked him from his time here and opened the checkbook. Same as with House.

Gonna be hilarious when he bolts for an NFL job.

Unarguably our two best returning defensive players. Fisch should have told Belichick to fuck off the minute it was clear he was heading elsewhere. Clearly keeping Steve around did not help us in the bowl game but it did allow him to pick Fisch's pocket. This was data point #45 in proving that Fisch is not serious about winning at UW.

My last home game attended. I flew up for that game. I always hated the track so I was excited and that game was extra juiced being game one of the remodel. Hopefully we will have a playoff home game before I kick the bucket.
