What would population movement look like? Would there be any real draw to moving north of the boarder vs moving south?

I don't think it's about population shifts, per se, rather common currency and greater economic integration. We speak the same language, have the same religion, same sports ball leagues, etc, etc. I mean fuck, British Columbia and Alberta feel culturally far more like the WA, OR, MT, ID, than, say, Mississippi.
Ontario was basically founded by loyalists who left the US after 1783.
