OFFICIAL 2021- 22 Ski Season Thread

Here I sit in White Wakanda getting ready for some spring slush runs tomorrow. It's supposed to be in the 50s on the hill.

It gets cold again with the possibility of new snow Friday. And really fucking cold with the possibility of new snow again on Saturday.

Doing my injun dances now for cold and snow.

Total precipitation for winter at 81% of normal, but snow pack only 61% cause climate change and stuff.

Dear @Swaye,

Please to be finding a new fucking snow dance. @YellowSnow and I skied at Mt White Wakanda today. The day started out with rain and fog. Half the mountain was a bulletproof ice sheet. The Redman has failed us. No fire water and more blankets for you.

Nonetheless, we made the best of it finding the best places to ride given Yella's extensive knowledge of the mountain. (I hadn't skied Bachelor in 20 years.) The weather even cleared up after kicking back a couple soda's at lunch and talking shit about HCH denizens.

It’s been epic this week and I’m wage slaving away. I need a new gig.
 
I haven’t skied since moving to the desert. Every week I checked the snow report for Tahoe, Vail and Park Ciry, and every week the base was under 40”. Not skiing, on the regular, is my only regret about leaving WA.
