Yes, this afternoon. After the thaw.

Not great but I'll take it the first tim the backside has been open all year at Stevens. The variable conditions keep you on your toes, but just soft enough to not be miserable.

Honestly it was fascinating to see Corona bowl this way. Riders have a way of pushing snow in different directions, causing different undulations. So in a way, today was pure terrain. I enjoyed despite the non-optimal snow.

Looking forward to Monday after a scheduled refresh Sunday.

 
I don't understand any of this but I love hot ski babes.

As far as skiing goes. These are the days I live for.

Minus the part about half the mountain being closed.

nice. there's fuckall coming to pc anytime soon. we? are somehow at 'above average snowfall' for the winter, probably the big dump between xmas and new years. going to be a pretty 'meh' winter.

pcmr lines weren't long on sunday, heard saturday was messy.

friend was going to come in skiing and a lift ticket at pcmr for MONDAY february 7 is $185.

PCMR is reporting a base of 41" which is shit as fuck, bruh. Jupiter needs to be, at least, 70" or more to be decent.

Two fucking life flights off the mountain yesterday. Crazy. Both on the fucking bunny hill/beginner slopes.

Which is why the Throbber stays the fuck away from those clowns. About killed a ski school kid yesterday passing him on a cat track. When The Throbber yells "on your right" that means I'm passing on the fucking right...don't turn right, you dumb fuck.

 
Today is the first day all season for Southern Cross/Double Diamond as Stevens. Fucking finally.

Had this happen the other day.

Picked my line and committed. All of a sudden the 6yo 35 yards to the left cut hard in front of me. Thankfully I got on the ground to avoid in time. Too close for comfort.
