It seems like they were dead set on a narrative and rules to calm the masses. Maybe it started out with good intentions, but it quickly unraveled, and there was awful leadership. When big tech silenced respected doctors and scientists early on, people with intelligence and actual critical thinking skills stopped taking it seriously.

Masks were very effective during armed robberies and looting.

Also effective in spreading choreographed dance routines by medical providers while people were dying en masse on their watch.

So you can't argue they didn't "work" at all.

I have a Jewish work friend. He's Tug/Fox "News" age (69 or so). He's not a right winger, and I distinctly remember him complaining about orange man for a good 10 minutes straight six or seven years ago. Alarm bells went off in his head during 2020 and he and I reluctantly voted way more GOP and for bad orange man. They weren't the party who were lying, colluding, and forcing emergency, experimental vaccines on innocent people, at least, way more DImocrats were...

As a healthy youngish male, Rolovich actually made the scientifically sound decision. The pseudo science was Fow Chee, Walensky, and the dazzler "one of the most effective vaccines ever". Eventually, even Fow Chee admitted the vaccine was a POS for a virus infecting through the mucous glands. For some reason, Rolovich is still alive and so is Stockton.

Rice that Rolovich’s justifications for refusing to get the vaccine had been “a moving target” since the summer of 2021, when questions began to swirl about the state mandate and his future with the team. Pekelis, in filings to the court and in oral argument Thursday, accused Rolovich of employing “pseudo-scientific skepticism” in his opposition to the mandate, and argued the case should be thrown out, instead of moving forward.
 
If I die from being un-vaxxed, then I die from being un-vaxxed. Fine.

I don't know anyone who'd prefer to have died because of the vax.

But they'll keep trying and lying. Bless their little hearts.
