Also a record flu season in New York. Closing the country for another 18 months could help

173 deaths in Los Angeles County is nothing tho. It has over 10 millions people. You know about half or more of those are dead people were in poor health that would die from just about any illness.
The hysteria needs to die down. It’s time to start talking about getting back to normal.

This! That really is the crux of my displeasure. I don't actually wants bazillions of people to die, but for fucks sake, there is one, ONE, recorded case of Covid in my entire county. Shut down major hot spots, put special precautions in place at nursing homes, take special care with pre-existing condition people, etc. I am fine with all of that. But treating me, in semi-rural VA, like I am in the middle of pandemic WW3 is a fucking joke.
