This. I’m not sure there is a conspiracy. It’s fun to come up with them but there are way too many people involved for it to happen.
Nobody knew what the fuck they were talking about (but scientists say blah, blah, blah), so they were excessively cautious.
I would go eat at a restaurant tonight if they were open. I haven’t been worried about it. I haven’t seen this situation, but I know how a lot of people are these days and everyone is so scared of making a bad decision and getting relentlessly blasted online that they toed the line and gave in to shutting everything down.

The bureaucrats downwind marched to their orders. And the ones with a little power went full on. The only conspiracy was Inslee and Ferguson playing the same game they've played for the last however many years. They saw an opening and went for it.

You basically had to shut things down for awhile. The infected would say they went to a NBA game or a concert, bar, etc. Then there are possible lawsuits.

It was well-intented, but moronic for the most part, people trying to understand a situation that scared them, because they are pussies, and then making decisions through that prism of fear and bad information and stupidity. They trusted scientists, who were wrong (duh), and mostly let fear of the internet mob drive policy decisions for the nation. Morons. Leaders lead. People who squat to pee and are scared of the Twatter mob are named Reichsmarschall Inslee and Fuhrer Blackface. And thus I am in lockdown with everyone else even though the Vid rates in my area are effectively zero. We have millions out of work everywhere, even though lockdowns only in highly affected areas would have worked fine.
I do believe that it is now a vast conspiracy to avoid blame assignment though. Everyone is running for cover because they realize they ruined the economy, put millions of people out of work, and suspended Constitutional rights, for nothing. So the conspiracy now is the lie that social distancing saved all life on Planet Earth and we should erect some statues to the morons who made it all possible. Here is one for you Governor Blackface. Couple that with the stoking of fear and uncertainty by faggots like Benito Inslee and Gavin Newsome, you get the momentum of basement-dwelling bureaucrats who are suddenly thrust in positions of authority and the dominoes started falling. A lot of office jockeys who spent their entire careers completing TPS reports given the platform to give mandates and make decisions based on flawed data and pressure coming from the top/desire to curry political favor from up the food chain in the gubmint org chart.
Throw in a massive money grab - and nothing gives mid level bureaucrats bigger boners than being to latch onto federal funds and it's a perfect storm for fucktardery. In that environment, those who dare question the higher ups are shushed and common sense goes out the window.
This isn't a conspiracy per se. It's a pandemic of how the federal-state-local agencies gave one another hand jobs so they could show how big their respective dicks are. Sprinkle in politicians trying to play the look-at-me/it's Trump's fault game and we are where we are.

Dr. Scott Jensen is both a physician and a Minnesota state senator. Yesterday he was interviewed by a local television station and dropped a bombshell: he, and presumably all other Minnesota doctors, got a seven-page letter from the Minnesota Department of Health that gave guidance on how to classify COVID-19 deaths. The letter said that if a patient died of, e.g., pneumonia, and was believed to have been exposed to COVID-19, the death certificate should say that COVID-19 was the cause of death even though the patient was never tested, or never tested positive, for that disease.
Dr. Jensen found this to be irregular and contrary to the usual practice for filling out death certificates. It seems intended to inflate the number of Wuhan flu deaths; it is hard to see any other potential purpose.

The reporting regulations and inconsistencies are downright alarming. In a week anyone who dies of any cause will be classified as COVID so we can keep the fear train running to schedule. Fucking embarrassing that most simpletons in America are still falling for this shit.
