So if an anal swab shows a respiratory virus, does that mean it can be passed in a fart. So, that would indicate that the next step in the war against Covid will be plastic underwear. When that doesn't slow down the spread,I'm guessing plastic bags over the head will be next.

If a top medical school/hospital system like Johns Hopkins isn’t requiring double masks or is saying doubling up on masks isn’t going to provide additional protection against new variants, I’m going to believe them:

Dr. Fauci and other government officials need to listen to behavioral psychologists more. Most reasonable people understand things change, but if you keep botching the messaging everyone is eventually going to tune out or get pissed.

And BTW, there’s no reason why the populace shouldn’t have access to higher grade masks by now.
