Marjon Beauchamp

Can anyone provide a yr by yr breakdown of the HS’s he’s attended including which ones he said he was going to attend and never actually did?

Is he a Juan and done?

This basically confirms the rumors earlier that he might have some difficulty getting eligible. This is a move to get his grades taken care of, he's still coming to UW.

Eh, I'm inclined to believe him when he says he's going the prep route because the facilities, training, and support staff are that superior. I wouldn't be surprised if grades are wrapped up in it though.

All camp long, Beauchamp was one of the most consistent and efficient scorers. He averaged 13.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per game, and shot an impressive 47 percent from beyond the arc. With good length and excellent athleticism, Beauchamp is the kind of skilled and versatile wing that every coach wants. With his shot making on point, Beauchamp stood out, and asserted himself as one of the best in a loaded class of prospects from the West Coast. Consistency has always been the question with Beauchamp, but all camp long he showed what he was capable of, and never seemed to take a possession off.

I could see him being a mid 2nd rd guy with this news. While its possible that he'll develop more this way, the exposure that goes with playing well on the college level would do much more for improving his draft stock.
