This song was revolutionary, it was the first one to talk about the crazy, dark, paranoid side of hustling and not glamorize it. Real shit.

I loved UGK back in the day. 8 Ball and MJG are cool too. I still listen to UGK once or twice a year when I bring an old I-pod to the gym or in the car.

"In Love With The Coco" is a shitty, mindless song. I don't even know who it is by without looking. However, when it comes on I'm smiling and bobbing my head to it. If it comes on at a party or gathering while drinking, I'm pumped. It's a guilty pleasure.

A lot of parents who think being soft will help little Corky succeed in life need to read this. It's hard to be a disciplinarian. We want to be liked. But if you think about it the coaches or teachers who we respect years later were the ones that cared enough to be a hardass when it mattered.
