Marcus Peters opens up about his dismissal

He's practicing talking the talk. I doubt he's had as huge of a turnaround as he's letting on. I'm sure he learned a little something though. Sometimes you have to bite your tongue, smile and play nice whether you like it or not. The lesson will serve him well, I'm sure.

“Man is nothing else but what he purposes, he exists only in so far as he realizes himself, he is therefore nothing else but the sum of his actions, nothing else but what his life is.” - Jean-Paul Sarte

I'm getting to the party a little late, but "I'm in love with the Coco" is epic.

BAKING SODA, I GOT BAKING SODA!!

I always appreciate good music!

Ok I gotta be rap superiority guy here, you can't consider Wu Tang dark Gangster rap. This is what I would consider that:

This song was revolutionary, it was the first one to talk about the crazy, dark, paranoid side of hustling and not glamorize it. Real shit.

I'm sure Roadie's gonna say he plays dominoes with those dudes in Long Beach, but that song sucks ass.

The song is awesome. It's not great musicianship or anything, but I appreciate it for what it is.

"NEED A BRICK MISS MY FREETHROW!"

Drug dealing and missing free throws...

Robert Upshaw, true?

This song is straight ASS homie.

In my day if you were a white kid that wanted to listen about black guys making and selling coke you had UGK, Eight Ball & MJG.

You all got this shit. America is fucked.

I loved UGK back in the day. 8 Ball and MJG are cool too. I still listen to UGK once or twice a year when I bring an old I-pod to the gym or in the car.

"In Love With The Coco" is a shitty, mindless song. I don't even know who it is by without looking. However, when it comes on I'm smiling and bobbing my head to it. If it comes on at a party or gathering while drinking, I'm pumped. It's a guilty pleasure.

Spot on. Perfect description.

A lot of parents who think being soft will help little Corky succeed in life need to read this. It's hard to be a disciplinarian. We want to be liked. But if you think about it the coaches or teachers who we respect years later were the ones that cared enough to be a hardass when it mattered.

Yeah but who will have more Facebook friends?
