Well, OKC built them an arena. They are happy. People in Seattle are happy with the Seahawks and Mariners. People from Portland go up and spend thousands of dollars in Seattle to see them. At least if you spend the money you have something tangible - like an arena with some cash flow for the community. If you spend a billion on housing and food stamps for illegal aliens you get a lot of illegal aliens and associated crime.

This started when you called me out on this thread for basically telling that asshole to take a hike.

I made it clear I wasn’t sure what Washington state was doing was the right plan. My beef was that billionaires like this guy have figured out to game the system to put money in his wallet at the detriment to all of us and Washington State’s law, however flawed it is, is intended to do something about it.

Exactly! OKC funded Bennett arena, their taxpayers really don’t get anything out of it, Bennett net worth increases by default.

Then you guys complain about affordability while these guys take more of the GDP through these types of tricks

What is CBS News radio? Where is it on? How much does an "affiliate" pay for stale CBS News? You could hire 10 well read people and have them read headlines on the hour?/half hour and pay then hundred grand a piece or $1mill a year and have a better product.
