Last Movie Seen

Watched Fish Called Wanda last night.

I tried watching that a few years ago since everyone raves about it. I turned it off about halfway through.

It's been a long time but I liked that one. Kevin Kline was pretty damn funny.

I watched the new All Quiet on the Western Front yesterday. I watched the original, or what I thought was the original years ago in school. It was good, but I'm not certain it was best picture good. 1917 was much better IMO.

Neither did the Academy

1917 plot was dumb. It had some good moments I couldn’t get past the plot.

This kept me entertained while I've been sick.

Apologize if a thread has already been in Yellas Shoppe re this thread title or similar.

However, I like “promises, promises. Good scene and relatable….and not just the mobile home…;). good stuff/good scene. I enjoyed this one.

The Purge Anarchy. Started watching the Purge movies in the order they are meant to be seen.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Pitt was great.

Then Bullet Train, again with Pitt. Funny in both.

3 Days of the Condor. Redford and Dunaway in their prime.

Once Upon in Hollywood is a good movie. Both Pitt and Diacapprio were good.

One clip of a good many:

The Banshees of Inisherin was a solid flick.

Kind of dark at times but love me some drinking Irishmen.

Of course, a film about white males is never again going to win an Oscar for best pic.

TTTTT, I know.

Andrew Strong is the fucking man! A staple on the throbber's playlist.

Bought The Commitments on Prime a couple years ago after learning Mrs. Throbber v2.0 had never seen it.

And WOOD! the blonde.
